Get excited about the 2nd Annual Billabong Grom Comp that kicks off May 22nd behind Pompano Joe's! This is a local surfing event that offers young surfers a chance to compete. Billabong Grand Boulevard and Ride On Surf School are teaming up again to host the competition for young surfers 12 and under which will be divided into five divisions. No surfing experience is required and surfboards will be provided for participants. Prior to the event, the entry fee is $15 and day of is $25. It is sponsored by Billabong Camps, Ride on Surf School, Billabong Grand Boulevard, Meyer Skimboards, Global Surf Industries and Dakine and Aloha Surf Company. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the finalists and each entry receives a signature event tee and goodie bag! The Billabong Grom Comp is going to be an awesome event that will allow young people a chance to surf in a safe, friendly environment.
